On August 20, according to Bloomberg, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), said it will consider participating in the next round of financing for the prediction market platform Polymarket. ICE has previously invested over $1.6 billion in Polymarket. In an interview with Bloomberg Television, ICE CEO Jeff Sprecher stated that if the company's participation could help complete Polymarket's current funding round, it would remain open to this, adding that its investment backing could provide support for the financing.
