OpenAI Releases GPT-6.1 Terra, API Price Cut by 50%

PANews, October 27 - OpenAI announced on X platform that it has launched GPT-6.1 Terra, focusing on computer operation capabilities, enabling it to understand screen content and execute actions across applications. Compared with GPT-5.6 Terra, the new model's standard API price is reduced by 50%; in the Agents' Last Exam test, which measures agents' ability to use office software, its performance is on par with GPT-6 Astra, but its per-token price is only one-tenth of the latter, and its average task completion speed is over 3 times faster than GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol. GPT-6.1 Terra is available immediately to Plus, Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users of ChatGPT Work and Codex, and developers can also access it via API.
