On September 7, according to TrendForce's latest memory research, DRAM contract prices rose significantly in Q2 2026, driving overall DRAM industry revenue up 59.5% quarter-over-quarter to nearly $154.73 billion.

As LLM model training and AI inference boost AI server demand, shipments of HBM3e, LPDDR5X, and high-capacity RDIMMs grew in tandem, while Agentic AI applications further drove procurement of RDIMMs across various capacities.

On the supply side, manufacturers' inventories remain at low levels, and new supply is prioritized for server applications, resulting in only modest growth in overall DRAM bit shipments in Q2. (Jin10)
