Ren Zhengfei Discusses Artificial Intelligence

Wen Shugang, Chairman of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., and General Manager Zhong Guodong held talks with Ren Zhengfei, CEO of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., in Shenzhen on August 20. Ren Zhengfei welcomed Wen Shugang and his delegation. He stated that China has two important foundational advantages for developing artificial intelligence: first, advantages in electric power, and second, advantages in telecommunications networks. Moving forward, there is significant room for cooperation between the two sides in AI, computing power, and computing-electricity synergy. Both sides should leverage their respective core strengths, strengthen joint technological innovation and scenario-based applications, and jointly support the high-quality development of new energy and the construction of new-type power systems.
