Michael Saylor, CEO of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), recently officially refuted market rumors that the company would sell Bitcoin due to "financing risks." Saylor emphasized that the company's current financial condition is very healthy with ample liquidity, and there is absolutely no need or intention to repay debt or resolve funding gaps by dumping its cryptocurrency holdings. Saylor stated that despite external concerns over the company's growing debt scale, Strategy's book cash actually exceeds its total outstanding debt.
He revealed that the company recently raised substantial funds through capital market operations and is currently facing the challenge of "not knowing how to spend excess capital," while still strictly executing its strategy of adding Bitcoin positions daily. Regarding potential financial milestones such as upcoming convertible note maturities, Saylor noted that the company possesses strong credit lines and refinancing flexibility, fully capable of covering redemption obligations without touching its core holdings. He concluded: "We have more capital than we know what to do with, and the risk is zero."
