Silence Therapeutics PLC – ADR shares surged after the company agreed to be acquired by Merck KGaA of Darmstadt, Germany.

The cash deal of $20 per American Depositary Share implies an enterprise value of $1.1 billion and an equity value of approximately $1.3 billion.

Silence Therapeutics shares soared 125.7% to $19.60 on Monday.
