According to reports from The Paper and other outlets, on August 24, consumers noticed that the Tmall store "SKhynix Flagship Store" suddenly announced it would cease operations, raising concerns about after-sales warranty for purchased memory products. The store's homepage stated it plans to voluntarily terminate operations on September 9, 2026, and has removed all products; the store can no longer be found via direct search on Tmall. Tmall customer service said that if an order is still within the after-sales warranty period after the store closes, customers can apply for repair or refund on the order details page; if there is no after-sales entry or the seller fails to respond, customers can contact platform customer service for assistance or check whether brand official warranty applies. On August 25, SK Hynix's stock opened lower and continued to decline, with losses exceeding 4% as of the time of reporting. Separately, reports said SK Hynix union members voted to reject a preliminary wage agreement reached after two months of negotiations, with 50.08% of the 15,045 voting members opposed, a margin of just 25 votes between approval and rejection. The agreement had included a 6.3% base salary increase and a change to profit-sharing bonuses—40% in cash and 60% in company stock—replacing the previous all-cash payout.
