On August 20, according to Reuters, a study by nonprofit organization ACDC found that over 150 wallets on the Polymarket International platform may have used insider information from the U.S. military to trade, attracting imitators and raising concerns that the market could leak signals exploitable by foreign adversaries. In ACDC's database, 556 wallets—dubbed "whales"—typically placed high-risk, high-reward bets in niche markets where insiders often held an information advantage. These wallets would then cash out and disappear without a trace. Among them, 152 wallets were particularly successful, focusing on military and defense markets, with total profits of $8 million and an average win rate of 97.2%.
