Sun Yuchen, global advisor to HTX, stated in a post that HTX has officially upgraded its security architecture in response to community demands for stronger security guarantees, affirming that user assets remain 100% SAFU. The upgrades include enabling a multi-address withdrawal system, dispersing hot wallet assets across multiple addresses; automatically rotating withdrawal addresses on a regular basis, with old addresses immediately deactivated and no longer controlled once new addresses are activated; and minimizing single-address risk exposure to the lowest level.
Sun Yuchen stated that even in the event of an extreme security incident, the potential loss cap would be below $1 million, fully covered by the insurance fund, ensuring users suffer no loss of funds. He also reminded that withdrawal addresses will be periodically changed as part of normal security mechanisms, urging users to verify actual on-chain receipts. HTX stated it will take every piece of user feedback and every cent of user assets seriously.
