According to X user MaxForAI, Tencent has begun gray testing its new flagship model, Hunyuan Hy4. Users have discovered that Hy4 has appeared in the model selection list of the Tencent Yuanbao app, labeled as an expert-level model, ranked above Hy3 and DeepSeek. The official account @TencentHunyuan also shows the model option at the relevant entry point. Tencent confirmed in its Q2 earnings call last week that the larger-parameter Hy4 will be launched soon, with further improvements in model performance and multimodal capabilities.
