Tesla Officially Announces Cybercab Unveiling Event in Austin on September 3

Tesla will unveil its driverless Cybercab model, featuring no steering wheel and no pedals, in Austin on September 3 local time. Previous reports indicated that the vehicle has completed road testing and employee test rides, with plans to first offer it to employees and later to the public. Currently, Austin's Robotaxi fleet primarily consists of 186 modified Model Y vehicles, with Cybercab set to gradually join, though production this year will be limited, and commercial permits are yet to be clarified.
