On August 31, according to Thai media Thaiger, Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society opened the "TH-AI Passport" platform to registered users at 9:00 AM local time on August 31, planning to cover 5 million users. Eligible users can free use Pro-level AI services from 14 service providers, covering a total of 33 models, supporting scenarios such as image generation, video creation, music production, deep research, programming, and website building. The Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) is currently also soliciting public opinions on the draft of the country's first dedicated "Artificial Intelligence Act". Industry estimates suggest that Thailand's AI market size is approximately 50 billion baht, of which over 40 billion baht relies on overseas technology.
