The window for US-Iran ceasefire negotiations has expired with both sides still at an impasse. Trump said there is "no timetable" for ending the war while insisting Iran must not possess nuclear weapons. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson ruled out extending the temporary ceasefire agreement through negotiations. Iranian officials said Iran has set a deadline of several weeks for the US to fully implement the US-Iran memorandum of understanding and will not wait indefinitely for the US to continue the maritime blockade. Due to the stalemate in efforts to reach an agreement with the US, Iran has decided to shift its policy "from defensive to full offensive."
