September 8 news, according to CoinDesk, Alexander Blume, founder and CEO of crypto asset management firm Two Prime, said Bitcoin's recent rally still has room to run, mainly due to position pressure faced by institutional investors who have heavily sold volatility. Once prices continue to rise, forced short covering will fuel the uptrend. He noted the current market structure is healthy, with funding rates showing no signs of overheating, and the rally is not speculative-driven, with sustained spot ETF inflows and corporate buying providing substantive support. Although implied volatility has risen from 23%-24% to above 40, it remains low by historical standards, and call option sellers forced to unwind could accelerate the upside. Blume believes that if macro conditions remain stable, BTC has likely bottomed near the $60,000 level, with the biggest risk being a broad collapse in risk assets, while widespread market pessimism means even mildly positive news could have outsized impact.
