Unemployed Engineer Recreates AMD's Acquired AI Chip with 7,000 Lines of Code

As AMD acquires AI inference chip startup Taalas, an unemployed engineer, using only about 7,000 lines of code, has independently developed a tool that can directly compile large models into chip circuits, claiming performance could significantly surpass Taalas.
