August 21 news, according to Fox News, the US Treasury stated that it has proposed common-sense, low-cost investment rules for "Trump Accounts" and banned ESG funds from appearing in "Trump Accounts." It is reported that the rule restricting ESG funds from being included in Trump Accounts runs parallel to other rules ensuring low-cost investment options for accounts, to ensure investors retain more of their funds. Note: ESG funds refer to funds that, in investment decisions, consider not only corporate financial performance but also incorporate three categories of factors—Environmental, Social, and Governance—into their screening criteria.
