Upbit Suspends Crypto Deposits and Withdrawals of 1 Million KRW or More with BitMEX

PANews October 16 news, according to Upbit's official announcement, due to BitMEX terminating its integration with the travel rule solution VerifyVASP, Upbit has suspended digital asset deposits and withdrawals of 1 million KRW or more with BitMEX starting October 16, while deposits below 1 million KRW continue to be supported as usual. The announcement shows that withdrawals from Upbit to BitMEX were suspended on September 23, and withdrawals via OpenAPI are not supported. Manual deposits of 1 million KRW or more from BitMEX to Upbit will cease at 14:00 on December 18, after which similar assets received will enter the return process, and users will need to retrieve them according to the return procedure.
