Xiaomi MiMo Launches First AI Desktop App MiMo Desktop

On September 8, Xiaomi MiMo launched MiMo Desktop, a desktop client designed for real-world work scenarios, and opened limited-time beta testing. Users can access the application page to try the new preview models, MiMo-X-Pro-Preview and MiMo-X-Flash-Preview, for free. MiMo Desktop supports direct reading of multi-format materials such as spreadsheets, images, videos, and PDFs, automatically breaks down tasks, and invokes tools to generate editable outputs including documents, spreadsheets, PPTs, web pages, 3D models, and software engineering projects. The product features built-in "Smart" scheduling, which automatically routes between different models and multiple agents, and can control browsers to perform searches, fill out forms, and validate web pages. It also uses context caching and partial editing to manage costs for long-running tasks.
